After working for the prestigious José Eber as a senior stylist and after being voted one of the top five best hairstylists in Kansas City in 2013 by KC Magazine, I am proud to now be part of the Sami Halaseh Salon family at Bradley Fair in Wichita, KS. I have over twenty years of experience in haircutting and styling.
In 2016 I studied in Soho, NY. the art of cutting and maintaining curly hair. Let’s face it: Not all salons are created equal. When it comes to curly hair, there’s an art to perfecting the best shape, curl definition, or style. This is why it’s super helpful to find a salon that teaches you how to care for your curls at home, especially for anyone who is starting their natural hair journey and isn’t sure where to begin.
I rarely use clippers on my men's haircuts and prefer scissor-over-comb to better customize the cut. It's healthier for your hair, where clippers can damage the hair and make it look spiky, but with scissors, the hair grows back better and smoother, which gives your hair a better texture. The hair just sits better.

*When calling to make your appointment, please specify as a curly haircut. PLEASE DO NOT use bobby pins, head wraps, ponytails, headbands, rubber bands, hats, clips, etc, on the day of your appointment. I need to see your natural curl pattern and how your hair falls in order to perform the cut properly. Your hair should be completely out in a Wash n Go.
